Tuberculosis of the breast, is extremely rare and differential diagnosis from carcinoma, pyogenic breast abscess, is necessory.The clinical diagnosis becomes even more confusing when carcinoma and tuberculosis of the breast occur together.
Tuberculosis
of the breast typically occurs in women of child-bearing age and is often associated with tuberculosis elsewhere in the body.
Recently, authors experienced 15 cases of tuberculosis of the breast, which was excised or drained and received antituberculosis drug and therein report with literature review.
